Nergal being the king and Peor meaning pit or opening sounds like Abaddon king of the bottomless pit who will be released in the end times. I think he’s one of the fallen angels locked in chains under the Euphrates River? He also reminds me of Janus/Culsans/Portunus meaning ‘door’ Here’s this about Janus: Macrobius reports that Nigidius argued that Sol was to be identified with Janus and that he had a counterpart, Jana, who was Luna. As such, they were to be regarded as the highest of the gods, receiving their sacrifices before all the others.

Baal Peor is another name for the Assyrian idol Belphegor. He is mentioned in the Bible as the patron of Moab in Assyria, and was one of the false gods that Moses handed down the death penalty for worshiping. He was a phallic deity, associated with sex, orgies, and all forms of debauchery in general.

I think he would also be Moloch/Baal Hammon Kronos Saturn, etc.
